I just installed my Bar pin eliminators in the rear shock mounts. I would buy them if i were you all.

ALOT better than this Bar Pin.

 

Did you have any trouble getting the bar pin out of the shock?

 

Yeah, I'm curious also. Last time I looked at my shocks (BB install) it didn't look like an easy job getting the bar pin out. Fill us in.

 

When I was looking for a replacement for my bar pin (Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks), i found out that JK's have a larger pin than older Jeeps. I finally found a shop that has a stock JK shock, but the pin was impossible to remove, even using a vise. The rubber bushing would not let go. It was a lot easier with my Skyjackers. I think the bushings are neoprene or something other than rubber.

 

Couldn't you just cut one end of the bar pin off with a sawzall and slide it out?

 

just ordered mine today, only my reason was because the stupid grommet kept coming out of the shock and the shock would rattle around on the bar pin w/o and coushin. so..... whooooo, how much did ya pay for those? ill try and do a write up also
