Brigantine and Island Beach State Park are open year round with some restricted areas during the summer months. Many other shore communities allow 4x4 access in the fall during the striper derby. Google it. Check out the New Jersey beach buggie association site for more info on beach access.

My Beach Jeep
This is my first jeep (just got it 2 weeks ago) and since I am in FL, this will be a beach jeep.
Any suggestions on tires good for the beach and daily drive (and light off-roading). I have been thinking about Pro-Comps AT 305/65/17 combo wheel and tire (which are about a 33" tire), the stock tires on the Sport S are 32", do I need a lift (rookie question)?
