I want to do the same to mine. I've just painted the interior of the hard top black, now I'm ready for the outside. The inside of my hard top is so freak'n hot to the touch I have to point half of my AC vents up and the other half directly on me. Guess the passengers are out of luck.

Thats exactly how mine was...its soo much better now. Its also a hell of alot easier to paint than the inside cause the roofs pretty much flat.

I would hope so. The interior was a b!tch. My back was sore for a couple of days.

Did you prep the top, or just paint away?

Good job that looks awesome, definatly something i need to look into, weve had over a month of 100+ degree days in texas and with the humidity here its somethin you can never get used to, its HOT!

I know this is an old thread, but would love to know how the paint held up. Also after having this done for a while, did the painted top really help? Wanting to do this.
