I purchased a bestop under the seat lock box to keep my gun in when I can't carry it on my person. It's a heavy well constructed box but lacked padding. I purchased some 1" thick dense styrofoam, and fabric from a craft store and made an insert. I made it to fit my Glock 29 since its the biggest of my Glocks. The majority of my others fit no prob.. Just thought I'd share..

 

Nice! I'll definitely be looking at a few security upgrades. My YJ was tuffied out and I loved it. I'm curious to see what the JK will require.

 

Only thing I wish I could do is put a popout type magnet on it for when I'd like to keep in unlocked while in the vehicle

 

I guess that wouldn't be an issue for me. I wouldn't store it there when I'm in the vehicle, only when I have to leave it behind. I don't think a drawer under the seat is accessible enough.

Check out the combo lock option from Tuffy, not sure if they fit the Bestop drawer but I really like the combo locks on my Tuffy drawer. They do what you want on mine!

 

This is how mine travels when I get out though it comes with me.

 

What's the red switch for? Is that the afterburners lol
