Default Bestop Narrow with Warn Winch.

My newest adds to the Jeep are the Bestop Narrow front bumper and the Warn VR8000 winch.
I chose the bumper because of cost, it accommodates my stock fog lights, and it looks good.
I chose the Warn VR8000 for a couple of reasons, in part by recommendation of my shop guy and in part by the name brand. My shop guy said there is not much difference between the VR8000 and the M8000. I hope he was not fibbing. There is a $300.00 price difference.

What I like about the Bestop Bumper:
It was very easy to install. It went on easier than the stock came off.
It looks great.
The price was the cheapest I found on the market for a stubby/narrow that accommodated my stock lights.
I wanted bolt on vs. weld on.

What I did not like about the bumper:
The top of the bumper would look much nicer if the back portion of the flat top extended one to one and half inches further to cover the frame. Even if they only did it over the frame.
I would like to see the slanted front of the bumper come down a bit further to cover the stock lower cross frame.
But hey, for the price, you just can’t complain too much.

As for the winch, so far I like the name brand. I will have to use it to give a stronger opinion either way. I am hoping it will work well.

When I log in, I can see the photos. I have four photos posted.

When I look at the web page without loggin in, I only see funny advertisement. I thought the forum was being hacked the first time I saw that.

Using the tapatalk app on iPhone and all I see are four squares but no pics. I'm interested in this bumper too due to price and OEM fogs being used but not sold on a stubby yet.

I installed this bumper this weekend too.
except I'm using a xrc 8.

I know exactly what you mean by wanting the bumper to extend a little more in the rear.

I think the bumper looks great and is not too heavy in the front.

I wasn't sold on using a stubby. but for the price, build and look. plus
the use of the stock fogs sold me.

this thing looks like you could beat the crap out of it.

I've got the high access bumper not the stubby but in terms of fit and quality you can't go wrong for the price.
