How long does it take, once you are good at it, to take the top on and off?

When you get the top on take some pics with the side windows (rolled up or whatever they do).
yes, these are made out of the same material as bestop manufacturers soft tops for jeep.

if you leave the door surrounds in place, taking off the top on and off can be done in minutes. if you take off the door surrounds, it takes about 10 minutes to do.

i will try to post pics as soon as i can.

From my previous experience, it was just easier to roll the back window up without the bar. Either way , I ordered mine Yesterday and am expecting to see it around Monday or Tuesday.

Are they different than the stock soft top door surrounds? Or can you use the stock surrounds?

What's different about them?

yes, the trektop comes with low profile door surrounds and no, you cannot use the factory door surrounds with this top.

I'm sold on this top for the spring. I am wondering if the door surrounds that come with the top are compatible with the 2-piece soft doors ( Part Number 51798) from Bestop or will I have to remove them and use the factory door surrounds to use the half doors? Ideally, I would like to go with the 2-piece doors and Trektop in the summer for those unexpected downpours and leave the steel doors at home.

Thanks, Duffy

yes, you should have no problems using the 2-piece soft doors with the trek top.

That's extra wicked super sweet! Thanks WOL. Talk about versatility! In the summer I couldn't wait for snow, now I can't wait for spring. This is more fun than human beings should be allowed to have.

were did u order the new style top from wayoflife i sent bestop an email about the bar and heres there response. The top is not being revised, however, what can be done is the Supertop tailgate bar can be purchased separately and the velcro can be attached to that instead of the vehicle tailgate.
