Thanks everyone! I have been thinking of those hinges. I am trying to decide on how to do it. Take the doors off or not...Probably best to take them off so I can do the lower part of the hinge properly as well. We had an 08 Unlimited before and just used bedliner on the hinges but that was because the paint was just flaking off.
I honestly dont know why you dont see the pictures! I am on a work computer and I see them fine as well! Just believe me when I say it looks good! You also posted 3 times there so maybe it is whatever your using.

Good luck with your build!
I may end up powdercoating them in the future..see how long the plastidip lasts. I like your new wheels! Look great!

If you plasti-dip the hinges you don't need to take the doors off. Just tape them off and spray. Here's mine.

I plasti dipped my wheels over 5 months ago and they are holding up great! I did the door locks, trail badge, antenna, and jeep front emblem as well. Only thing I needed to touch up were the door locks so far. I also took the decals off the side for a cleaner look.

That is a great looking Jeep, welcome to the club and good luck!

Wow that must be nice! I have been a fan for 29 years. Seeing a home game is on my bucket list. You are seriously lucky!

I Just tried doing one of my hinges yesterday and it was a bit of a PITA to tape off well and when I removed the tape it lifted the plastidip on the edge of the hinge so I got fustrated and pulled it all off. I sent an email off to a local business that specializes in plastidip and asked for a quote. We bedlined the hinges on our old wrangler unlimited and it took a whole day and we took the doors off as well. Ill see what they come back with for price and maybe just have them do it. I agree though it does look good. I will do the door locks I think. They are never actually used so why not. Jeep emblem will be done for sure as well.
