2007 Jeep wrangler Unlimited X 'S' pkg
Hey awsome forum.
I am new to off roading. I got hooked on 4x4 this past summer while adventuring in South america with my wife's family. Her cousins took us off road(basically everthing out the driveway was off road) in the snow and muddy mountains and rain forests of Ecuador. It was fantastic. They had small Viatara's (sp?). They looked like Suzuki side kicks. But they had all been modified for the serious terrain they have there.
So when we came home, and I looked at my old tired dodge durango with 100k on it Istarted to look around for something. A few days later my wife tells me we are expecting, I was shocked. Number 3 is due in April. It must have been the agua in Ecuador, anyway she said just get a car that has 4 doors and can fit a car seat with the 2 kids i it also. No problamo, Jeep answred mine and thousands of other people's prayers. I got the 07, I like to call it rescue hero red unlimited X in October. I love it, the kids love it and my wife can't drive it. (6 speed)
The first day i got it. we went off road. My Bro in law has a small mountain and we took it there. He drove it around b/c he has had mucho experience with off roading. here are some pics. i also drove it through a dried up river bed. I was learning about 4wd low and not to give it too much gas and stuff.
I am goin to put new tires on it first. looking at BFG Mud terrains. This is my primary car, so I can't beat the hell out of it.
I will be joining a Jeep club in NY in January, so more experience to come.
Enjoy,
Picasojo[
This one is of me, yea I know, a poser shot. I will be going up to Vt. for New Years, so there should be some adventures there.
The others were my bro in law w\niece. All my kids and their little cuzzes and the top is of my wife.

tHANKS kRAZ,
I allready feel at home with the jeep wave. Now if i could figure out what kind of tires to get things would be better.
Merry Christmas,
Picasojo
Here is the new 300 Gutter Foot Pack | LB58 Load Bars from EMS. I had the Thule box allready. I instralled it myself in 1/2 hour. It cost 200.00
