We made ventilation holes on the bottom (inside) of the tailgate, we added about 40 pounds of weight inside the tailgate so it opens and closes just like the factory gate. This is my favorite part of this Jeep. Total time is probably around 15 hours including paint and stencil work for the Jeep logo.
