when you say it didn't fit you Gobi rack. In what way did it not fit? Please explain. The reason I ask is because I've been wanting to get a Gobi roof rack and put a 50" bar on it.

On the left and right corners of the gobi rack the tubular frame at the ends are blocked off by the bracket that has the holes for the bolt and screws, so the tube clamps that hold the light bar cannot go all the way to the left and right corners of the front of the rack, after a night of no sleep trying to find out why it wouldn't fit and how they would make a 50" fit I saw a pic on the net of special bracket that was actually welded on the tubular frame that has to be special ordered from
Gobi rack. Hope I explained it enough . Let me know if you have any more questions, I really wanted the 50" too lol, but didn't want to buy another part and just settled for the 40 and had store credit for the difference so it's all good . So if you are going the 50" light bar route , call gobi first and ask them for the custom gobirack that would fit a 50" light bar, I was meddling with the 50 and the brackets for a good hour trying to make it work lol, but didn't happen lol .

Found the pic, you see that extra bottom piece that's welded on the tube frame , I don't have that, mines mounted on the top via tube clamps

Great looking ride there man... I think our Jeeps are long lost cousins.

Is that a Garvin trail rack you have on the back? and is it mounted to the spare tire support?
