Default cheap stubby

I found this on another forum and thought I'd share.

"Homebrew stubby front bumper for less than $100"
I don't think this link works but we'll see. http://forum.*******.com/viewtopic.php?t=7048

"I got tired of looking at the stock plastic bumper so did some research and decided to head on down to my local fabrication shop and got a 4 foot section of 6" C channel. I cut it down to shape and size, drilled the holes and got it Line-X'd.

4' x 6" C channel= $32
Line X= $40
Total= $72

I love how it turned out. I really wanted a Shrockworks stubby, but I think this will do until I save up enough money to get one. I also ordered a pair of PJ D-ring Shackle Mounts, which should be here next week. And that should finish up this project (until I get the winch...hehehe.) "

Its funny how a little dedication to detail can turn somthing as simple as a piece of C Channel into such a great looking and low budget project. Pass my congrats and admiration on to the proud owner if you can.

That is sweet and I'll bet it would take quite a bit to bash that up. Lots of money left, no doubt.
