Default Cobeau Seats

Well I asked on a few forums last week to see if anyone had put in corbeau seats. I really wanted to see how they looked, if they were more comfortable and worth the $$$, and how much of a PITA it would be to install them.....Especially the seat belt chime and air bag sensors.......well none of you would be my guinea pig so I did it myself!!!!
Yes, if to save $$$ , fabing your own brackets like I did....IS a BIG PITA!! But to tell the truth...I love spending time in my garage with my JK!!!
SOOOO, Final product....NO Seatbelt lights, No air Bag warinings, the seat is Fully adjustable very comfortable and a HUGE improvement over the factory seats. This coming week I will put in a new bar behind the seats for the shoulder harnesses to strap to. Currently they are strapped to the floor but it is not as safe as a correct install and berfore you rag me it will be fixed by next week and I will post now pics of the bar. Anyway...What do you think?? O and YES that is my 3 year olds jeep in the background of pic 2

I sat in some seats like that and they are very comfortable. I didn't think they looked all that comfortable but when you take a load off they are great. Well done on the install. Safety and good looks - That's a winner

Well mine (08) did not have the little silver boxes just above the slide rails....those silver boxes are weight sensors ( have seen them on an 07) so basically my jeep only knew if someone was in the passenger seat if the buckle was fastend. I tricked the sensors on both seats into thinking the seat belts are always fastend by closing the circut. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! but if you make the sensor think the loop is closed as in this picture...you will NEVER have seatbelt chimes and the airbag will ALWAYS deploy as is the seat is occupied in the event of a crash. Anyway the blue clip in the pic....is all it takes.
