Lets see people's creativity
I want a winch up front but I want it hidden so what have y'all done?

Way back in the 70's, they made concealed winches. Nobody bought them because to wind the cable on straight you had to sit/lay on the ground to watch and keep it even. I spoke to an employee at Central 4WD and it took over an hour to wind the cable on a Hickey Winch.

If you look on one of these forums it's already done but you have to use the factory front bumper.

Heres mine. Chopped the bumper and installed VDP end caps. Used a Harbor Freight universal winch mount.

Here's what I did. Its a total bolt in thats mounted right side up using the factory trim panel as a filler panel.
I ended up with the stubby vdp caps on it and now it's all sitting in my garage taking up space.

Looks good man!

I really just need to build what I'm looking for... Just hoped somebody had already done it.

But the stock bumpers with winches look pretty dang good.
