A couple pics from 12,000'+ elevation
Geez....from your thread title....I was thinking you were climbing up some abandoned mining trails in the Alpine.
I was not expecting a highway and all the vehicles
Great pics....another reason I want to get to Colorado...awesome mountains!

It did fine for what we were doing, just cruzin' between 25 and 35 mph. I'm sure that if I had to stand on the gas it would have the same response as a tourist from Florida,"Gasp....Gasp...you..go...ahead.....I'll.. catch.......up..Gasp"
I don't know if it's common knowledge or not but there is a 3% drop in HP for every 1000' in elevation gain.
12 x 3 + 36% drop.
202Hp x .36 + 72.72.
202 - 73 = A 129 Hp engine hawling a 2 1/2 ton Jeep. Kind of makes me want a super charger.

I was there two weeks ago. You need to try going up the Old Fall River Road to the top. It's an old dirt road with lots of switchbacks. Fun to go fast on. I think it's actually faster than going up the paved road. It dumps out right at the visitor center up there.
