Thanks for the compliments. I do have to give credit where credit is due. I did all the cutting and bending, and my friend did all the welding for me. And when it was all said and done he wouldn't take any money for his time. I owe him alot. Excluding my labor and my friends labor, I have $530 in this bumper. I don't think I could have bought one for that price. I didn't take any pictures of the build process, and the latch came from Reid supply. It's a DE-STA-CO latch model #344.

How did you do the swing-a-way pole? Is it just a larger outside pole over an smaller inside pole or did you use bearings?

It was a kit I got from AtoZ fabrication. It is a weld in spindle with roller bearings. It's rated for 1000lbs.
