Last update:

Finished and painted. The center plate with have a "Go Topless" sticker that will show above the gate when the hard top is off.


View of one side, to show how the tray rests on the side brackets.


Tramp stamp my brother made me, brake light is the stock unit mounted upside down. Finally legal again with 3 working brake lights.

Great build!

I was just looking into fabing my own interior rack using a universal ATV cargo basket that's just slightly smaller than the kilby but your fab'd basket looks awesome.

Great job! Every time I see a project like that I think I need to take welding classes. This may be hard to believe, but my dad is a retired professional welder. He learned to weld during WW II. If you've ever flown and noticed how thrust reversers work: In the 1950s he fabricated the very first one which was used to convince Boeing to make the first buy of them for their Boeing 707 aircraft. Wish he lived close by (they are in the San Diego area).
