Default Custom Sunscreens

Just thought I would share a few pics of my new sunscreens. I have a bikini top for shade but have never been happy with the flapping/drooping. The front is a regular density screen that allows light through and still moves a lot of air. The back (for the dog and soon to be kid) is high density and blocks most of the light. You can see the difference in the last pic. Both screens are custom fit and super tight. No drooping or flapping.

I am very excited to give them a full trial this weekend with a 5 hour freeway drive and wheeling. Additionally, they will fit under my hardtop in the winter and I can still use my grab handles (the pregnant wife likes that).

and here i was impressed by my screens. Thats some real good work. Did you sew all that up yourself? And I'm digging your back door/cage. Looks great for keeping the dogs in but still having the doors off feel.

Thanks guys. I definitely didn't make them. I am good with hammer not the skilled work needed for these. A buddy mine made them for me in return for my rubi take off shocks and install. He likes to make stuff for jeeps but is not a vendor or anything and I am not sure what the protocol here is and don't want to cross any lines.

I spent 16 hours in the jeep yesterday and did everything from 95mph to 4lo crawl through overgrown brush. The shades worked great. No flapping at speed and they kept tons of leaves, branches and bugs out of the jeep. Where we went wheeling was really tight and overgrown. Some branches and vines were soo dense they took the top of my snorkel off, but they didn't bother the new screens. I though for sure they were going to rip or stretch under the load of the brush, but they didn't even seem to notice. Here's a pic of how overgrown the trail was. The other jeep is only 20ft in front of me and you can hardly see it.

Ha Ha! Like breaking the sound barrier! I'd find all my stuff on the road behind me. It's not homemade but that Spiderweb shade is awesome.
