Default Cut the fenders

Been getting my 09 JKU to the point I want it for the last month (and change). Got the bumper, winch, hi-lift, 2.5" lift/shocks/steering stabilizer, tires/rims....etc.

Yesterday I finally went and cut the stock fenders. I spent the money for a body pin tool set (6 tools total). Definitely made the job much easier! Took about 3-4 hours but, considering it was the first time I'd ever pulled fenders, I'm okay with the time. I did trim the support piece on the front and reinstalled so the front fenders are still solid. I actually enjoy doing stuff like this but won't lie....I was a bit nervous as I started the first cut. I will trim the fender lining and put some of it back in and eventually, put a side marker light on it somehow. For now, it's fine and I love the end result.

Thanks! I actually started without any of the supplies I needed, including a jig saw. Now I have it all and still only spent $75. Highly recommend it to anyone that wants the more aggressive look without the expense.

NJ: I spent 6 weeks in jersey (mcguire afb). Gotta say, y'all are NUTS!! High temp one week was 7...SEVEN!!!! I wanted to post a sign on the corner that read, "You know you can move, right?" I just got back from diving a couple hours ago.

P.S. Anyone in the Inland Empire or OC (California) that is thinking about it, I'll help. Just buy lunch. I had fun doing mine!
