I'm still thinking of sending my top trim to have you do the spod mod you did.

This is what I did:
I removed the front hardtop latch and drilled a hole in the console plate directly below the latch bolt hole.
I purchased a bolt to fit the threaded insert in the hardtop and dug up a fender washer.
And painted them black.
Then ran the bolt up through the console plate and into the hardtop to hold the front of the top down.
I mounted my CB at the front of the console, so I folded back the front portion of the console cover and tucked it under.

I mounted my Smittybilt Console a couple of weeks ago, but today I moved my CB. I inverted my rearview mirror a while back, so the map lights in the bottom of the mirror are useless, so I added 4 small round LED pods for map lighting.
Map lights on.
A-pillar switches - top switch is for map lights.
LED pods.

The RPod
Relays and terminal strips.
Fuse block and 40 amp breaker on firewall behind battery.
A pillar pod with OTRATTW Dual LED single pole switches. Green LEDs (legend) are wired to dash lights and red LEDs (icon) illuminate when switch is turned on.
Lower dash panel. Not all switches are in use but it is easier to plan ahead and wire them all at the same time, so the lockers and air comp switches are currently spares. I now have a Superchips Traildash and it operates the lockers directly. So I will not be using these locker switches but it easy to change the rocker and use the switch for whatever may come.
