yes you're right the damage from a flood right after it fell of a cliff would cause the damage.

If you go back there, it looks like the passenger side front boot is still on the shock... maybe it is still good, we all know how well those shock boots are waterproof...

Just hope that all bailed in time...

it is a sponsored jeep. it belonged to action team, which at the time was doing the jeep jamboree in mexico for the jeep company. the place is now known as jeep cemetery, these jeeps got washed away by the river during a trip when hurricane Emily hit this side of Mexico. there are three jeeps like this one in this same spot, but I've only seen two.

Someone needs to go get it. That is the prime reason tree huggers in the US want to shut down all the trails.
