difference between 35's and 37's

toyo open country mt's 35 12.5 17 and yes 37 13.5 17

While pictures are deceiving (and not saying you're not knowledgeable/don't already know this), the 37 is not mounted on the wheel, and there is no weight on the tire.

The height difference you see in the picture is going to be significantly less. It for sure will be better than the 35's.

Why not get the 37x13.50?

sorry yeah 37 13.5 17....mounting them on slabs as we speak... I will post pic with both of them off to make it a far pic lol..

The height difference is within an inch depending the tire. Iv had 1.5" of difference between my old 35 and 37.

But we're talking about Toyo Open Country MT's - not other tires. Again, it won't be THAT much of a difference, but you cannot say a tire is "X-Y-Z" in height when it's not mounted, with load on the tire yet.
