I think black is the way to go!!

Of course its depends on what you like.

I personally love the black wheels on my Jeep

 

I think black wheels look good on some Jeeps, not all. I am of the older generation and I think this is a younger generation thing. To each his own. I don't plan on doing black. I've seen some black rims with silver or polished trim/accents like the 1/2 and 1/2 on a Jeep earlier. I think that looks clean and more custom than just straight black.

 

I'm kinda sorta with you on this one. The black wheels are the trend just like white ones were the fad 20 years ago.

IMO, the only problems with black wheels are that scratches really show up and the black tires on black rims just become a black blob that looses the details of the wheels.

 

Black wheels look good, but I am biased. Nothing wrong with polished aluminum though.

 

Black is the only way to go, some chrome is OK but all chrome looks like ass to me IMO. It's your jeep though, make it yours

 

Love the look of black wheels. I try to keep my vehicles down to only two colors. If it has black trim and a color then I like black wheels. My red and silver race car has silver wheels. I didn't want red, silver and black.

Keep your setup. I can't get into the black wheel thing. I also don't get equating black rims to offroading. I do equate Hutchinsons and some WE with off roading, they are nice wheels but very costly.

 

I recently put some 16" pro comp extremes on mine and I will say one thing. There is none zero nada wheel care needed. Just spray em off and they are satin black again. Nice.

 

I got another pair of the exact same ones just all black... I use the 2-tone for summer and the blackout for winter due to salt.
