Looks like I finally joined the ripped drive-shaft boot club. Oh well, time to upgrade!

I have a 2008 rubicon...lifted and off road ready. I brought it to the local dealer and jeep replaced my front drive line by way of the good old warrenty.

I have heard of situations where the drive shaft pulled the pan away from the tranny....big problem if this happens.

My boot ripped this weekend also.. it tore on the colar so I was able to reclamp it and then duct tape it pretty good...

It seems Jeep has a few Poor designs.....
I'll be upgrading also

my d/s boot has been ripped a good 6k miles. havent greased it yet. gl

yeah. i hear you there. it's good to know how centered up your axles are because of this same reason.

What kind of clamp did you use.
And fid it throw off your balance at the shaft?
