Default Driving Offroad

Many of you feel that because I and others do not "wheel" we must never take our jeeps of pavement. I took these on a right of way on the way back from a fishing trip this morning. It is a big hole that floods to impassable when it realy rains and is a little difficult when it just rains some. It has been real dry recently but I frequent this fishing spot as it is just a few minutes from the house and have to drive through this to get there and back. I know nothing spectacular but the pictures do not show the whole story.

Default very nice

Everyone enjoys their jeep in their own way... looks good to me .. i go down decommisioned forestry roads on my days off just to see what i can see... but dont go hard wheeling.... to each our own eh? .. And of course up in northern canada our paved roads are off road ...lol....

And its hard to show steepness of hills on a photo... which sucks because it makes shots that were a lot of fun to get not as impressive when you see the outcome... any better ideas to give the look of steepness

That creek looks like a good trout stream. Nice pictures. I am glad to see some other brave souls stepping up and saying I don't wheel but I take mine offroad.

Beautiful country. Where were the pics taken?
PS - I wheel, drive off road, drive on road, rock crawl and in general will go anywhere possible. I don't go to the mall - it's just too dangerous! If there's an issue, it because one party may be closed minded and another party too sensitive. Enjoy the ride whenever and wherever possible. Post more pics.

I prefer wheeling for the sake of getting somewhere interesting and not for the sake of just doing it. To some it's a sport. When my little girl gets older I'd love for us as a family to go places that we wouldn't otherwise get to go.

Nice pics! I think there are a lot people in that camp. I spent part of today just running through roads (paved and gravel) at a nearby state park. Top off, nice weather, nice scenery, a few pictures, and no damage - it was what I got my jeep for. I will say I do try to convince myself that I absolutely need the capability of my Jeep to make it through these "tough" roads. And it works if you close your eyes when the minivans pass you by...

EDIT: I just saw PhilD pictures of Moab...ok, doing that would be nice to!
