The EVO Quarter Pounder front stubby does require the removal of factory cross bar that runs underneath you factory swaybar. This allows for much improved front clearance (multiply inches) and the ability for Rubicons to raise/rotate their swaybar actuator for even greater ground clearance.

Default Crash test

Hey EVO, I'm curious about something. I have an after market front stubby bumper with a hoop (not a stinger) and I had someone back into me the other day with an Expedition. The bumper and the hoop come out with only a few minor bends here and there and there wasn't any damage to my Jeep. The friends I had in the Jeep and I were very suprised when we got out of the Jeep at how little damage had been done considering how fast the person hit me.

I imagine the impact was in the 5mph range. The reason I say that is they were about a car length away from my Jeep when they popped their rig in reverse and punched it. The damage to there vehicle was definitly worse than mine. There rear bumper was pushed up and into the body. Either way it's hard for me to say how fast you could go in reverse in 20' but 5-10mph seems reasonable.

What I'm curious about is how well do you think your quarter pounder and stinger would hold up against such a test?

Would the stinger fold or other wise fail before damage to the bumper/Jeep would occur?

If the stinger would be able to sustain a 5 mph impact and keep the damage limited to the stinger I think that stinger just became a lot more valuable to me. By the way, I realize that's not what it's intened for but it worth validation in my opinion.

Thanks for your time in advance.
