There's plenty of room to mount anykind of winch plate, I too would prefer one that the winch sets lower, I'll have to see what I can find. Thanks for the compliments guys!

OK i have one of the Fabtech bumpers on the way but i do not see a way to mount the winchplate. Someone who has one please let me know how that is going to work.

Considering this bumper. Do you have purchase a separate winch plate? I have a Warn M8000.

I know this thread is way old but did you install a winch mount plate? I know the bumper instructions say use the warn one which is like 350 bucks, i was hoping to get away with the RC one for 145 bucks

I had this same bumper on my last jeep. I ended up using a Mile Marker TJ plate and mounting it to the top of my frame rails. Worked great and didn't cost much.
