Default fender build help!!

any one know where i could find the flat plate that bolts to the tub to build tube fenders off of. front and rear

If you dont find one of these.....

Make a mock up one out of cardboard, get someone to draw it for you on autoad then get it plamsa cut. If some areas need to be field fit later, that is okay just have it cut a bit bigger in those areas and you can trim it down later (or add the holes later).

You'd probably end up saving a buck in the process too.

One last comment - send me the cad drawings once youve done this!

yeah i guess my next step is to take my stock fenders off and make a templet. looks like i migh be on to something with just the flats $$

wsutwiggy, can someone make say a strong mini stinger welded to the front bumper and weld your front tube fender into that? The same could be done on the other side, build some strong rock rails and the other end of the tube fender welded to that. This would be done ontop of using the stock sheemetal locations.

My only problem I might see here is will frame flex (versus body flex) just bind things up too much?
