After 11 years with a 2005 Grand Cherokee I got a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 7,605 miles. Black on black, two door, 6 speed, and extremely happy so far. The mods already started before having it for a week. Changed the shifter and transfer case knobs out to the all black mopar. Getting a gas lid cover and probably clear outside indicator lights. The previous owner installed a 13inch stubby antenna and a Tuffy tailgate enclosure. At some point I want a lift and bigger tires but I think I want to use the rest of the life of these stock tires. I was thinking about going with the AEV matte black Salta wheels. I have searched and found some one picture on another site I should search here to but if anyone has pictures of Saltas on stock tires that would be great.

 

Welcome to the forum. Nice find snagging something with only 7600 miles! As far as wheels, I'd just make sure to buy something with 4.5" backspace as that is the most common need for the JK when moving up to 35s.....should that ever been in your future. The Salta looks like it's a 5.2" BS. Wheels aren't cheap, so it's definitely one of those things to think about and do right the first time.

Welcome to the real world of jeepers . nothing against your cherokee and obviously you certainly liked it. Kudos to you for having it so many years I could never do it. I'v owned 4 jeeps I faltered once and was found in a Liberty IIcck !! but once out of the phsyche ward was back in the seat of a wrangler. Enjoy your Rubicon and it sounds like you have the bug and are ready to start the build. I'm in a 2013 Unlimited Sahara in that ever so rare Rugged Brown Pearlcoat..
