Full Traction & AEV build on 2012 Rubicon
God only knows how much time I spent researching before making decisions to buy.. And the funny thing is that I made changes literally at the point of purchase. This forum was very instrumental in guiding to the decisions made. As we all know the market is saturated with products for us to spend our hard earned money on. But not everything is equal in design and quality, what might be a perfect for one is not for another. I believe if it were not for forums such as this the growth of our "sport" would be hindered as many would make uninformed decisions possibly leading them to discontent.
So much for the soap box, just thanks for all the available information here!

Thanks for the complement, I spent a lot of time choosing the mods.
The AEV front bumper, was both easy and a challenge to install. The quality of the product is very high and everything fit perfect. You have a to drill a few holes, the one on the drivers side is a bit tricky. The vacuum pump mount weld on the front face of the bumper is dead center where you need to drill a 1/2 inch hole. So you are drilling into a weld that is on a 45 degree angle, takes a bit of effort to keep it on center. The winch mount has a bracket to relocate the vacuum pump, works great. If you read the instructions first and take your time, no problem.

How is the new 3.6 handling all the weight of the AEV gear, winch and tires? I assume that you are running 4.10 gears with an automatic? Have you driven an older JK with the 3.8 loaded with aftermarket gear to compare it too?
Sorry for all the questions but my 2010 has nearly all the same mods and I have to convince myself on a daily basis not to trade up to a 2012 immediately, it is inevitable though.
