After a bit of research I decided on the Trektop NX for this summer. 2 months ago I called Bestop and they told me that the tops would ship sometime in May. I called
4WD to order the top. They wanted my money now but stated they wouldnt have the top till sometime in June.

Today I called Trektop and they advised they have not shipped ANY tops yet and will not do so untill some time in June. But those tops are all SOLD. The backorder tops will not go out till late July or Early August.

I live in Michigan........I need the top today not in August.....Might have to wait till nexy year now.....I wish they made more .....

 

Patience grasshopper. It is worth the wait. Here are some pics while in Moab last month at EJS. Remember you end up with 2 tops in one, a full trek top and a safari top conversion. btw - I too am in MI

 

my buddy is waiting for his to and I think he ordered it through a different company 2 months ago.

 

thats where it pays to go ahead and fork out the money so you can get on the back order list, instead of just waiting till they have them in stock. i'm playing the waiting game on a set of rugged ridge half doors... fell your pain

 

I was planning on getting a trektop nx when I heard about them last year, but I am not waiting summer to be over to get a summer top. I am planning on spending the money elsewhere.
