WOW!!! Now there's one impressive thread - definitely motivational . Sometimes, it's just nice to be able to see several different views. Hats off !! Doors on mine will definitely be coming off soon.

PS: Shouldn't the signature on your 2009 Rubicon more appropriately be:
2009 Rubicon, Jeep green, NO door, 6 speed?

So last night, I spent some alone time in my garage. Just tinkering with the new Jeep. Well, one thing led to another and, well, um, today I drove to work without doors or the front roof panels! What a blast! This is SOOOOO cool! I cannot wait to get the whole top off and hit the trails.

Anyway, I figured, hey, it's going to be "warm" today, maybe even hit 50! It was 42* on my drive in. My commute is 2.5 miles and I didn't have any appointments today so I'm wearing slacks and a sweater. All is well.

Come to work, joke with the guys about being door less, etc. Then, I get... the call… yup, one of my large clients calls and asks if I can run over there ASAP to discuss their renewal with the CEO. He said don't worry that I'm not in a suit. Ok, sure, BUT I GOT TO GO HOME FOR MY DOORS because I ain't driving 20 miles without `em! Yes, I guess I'm more talk than action!

good job takeing them off! it is so much fun , the looks people give you make it so worth it.
I drive to work every day with out doors, it is about 20 to 40 mins deping on the trafic. it is a lot better with the top on. I can go doorless all day at 20F but I dont take the top down untill it get to like 60F (unless I dont go over 10mph when offroading). but hay, my hats off to anyone that takes there doors off at all, because we all know that 99% of all the yuppies that drive JK's will never have them off.

credit where credit is due, I had read some of your posts talking about doors off, two weeks ago I took my doors off , I had never thought it was a big deal, I have to say is great and I really liked it i'm sure I'll do it more often. on another note I still think is not a big deal, now the beauty of it is being able to put them back on whenever you want.

Chevy, you are an inspiration to us all, I bought my 09 when I was still in Afghanistan and by the time I got home and the Jeep arrived, I only had the time to remove the top for 2 days before the snow started falling, I am counting down the days till it is summer up here and I can get my Rubi looking like a real jeep
