Got rear-ended, just got the Jeep back today, I love my Jeep!
I got hit in the rear while I was on my way to Georgia to go and pick up a set of Rubi rock rails from VmaxJoe. A lady in a Chevy (Geo) Tracker decided not to use her brakes to stop herself in the rain.
Also she, of course, did not have any insurance. The Jeep held up pretty well, I think due to the fact it was lifted and she skipped under the rear-end lifting it up instead of impacting and pushing forward. The damage:

There was already a little damage to the right side rear in an "offroad incident" @ Mountainside ORV park in June. So thank goodness I hadn't had that fixed yet.
Fixed:

It looks like they re-designed the tailgate vent and some other small things. Now it is time for me to build a new rear bumper!
Also let me just say I love my Jeep, I have been driving my 1996 4x4 Yukon around for the past 2 weeks and when I got back in the Jeep it felt like a sports car compared to the Chevy (even with a V8) and the Jeep has bigger tires/lift etc.
Just for good measure, gratuitous pictures of an abused JK...

That sucks that you got rear ended and nothing more serious happened to you. Although I wish you would have posted some pics of the GEO and jacked up it looked but glad to see you got the JK back on the road

Yeah, and they got here just in time, thanks again!
haha, yeah, gotta do the re-assembly of all that stuff this weekend, I was trying to save myself some of my deductible $ and source stuff and do a bit of labor myself...
Yeah, it was pouring down rain when it happened and I was changing my tire and trying not to throttle the "B" with no insurance with my lug wrench. Her engine was pretty much in her front seat.

good to see it back together. I'm assuming they replaced the whole tailgate. Do you know if they used original mopar parts? I've seen some body shops and insurance companies use aftermarket parts and they don't fit right or look the same. Specifically on my old ram. They used an aftermarket tailgate and it didn't fit or look the same at all. Plus they used aftermarket rear windshield glass too and it was about the same. Looked like crap and didn't fit. I could stick my pinky finger up behind the back glass at the bottom. IT was crazy. Since the lovers are different, they may have changed the design from mopar but i would think you got an aftermarket part.
