I got all my steel for my bumper and tire carrier and ordered the hinge from a to z and now just need to know what you guys think on the thickness or the mounting bracket that are going to attach it to the frame?? What would you recommend , guys that have made one??

What are you using for the bumper? 3/16" ? ...I'm not sure, I'd guess you'd be wanting a 1/4" to mount to the frame especially with a tire carrier...gonna take pics and post 'em it the write up section?

I used 1/4" just for bracket and it gave me a nice solid feel.
