just as stated. I've thought of doing one soon and was just looking for ideas.

there are a few companies that make them, but I have never seen one thats homemade. Most have relocated mufflers I believe.

I can't remember who it was but someone modified a XRC rear bumper to have a winch. It was a really sweet build.

the modified XRC was the route that I was thinking of also. It looks like it could easly been chopped and modded and then using a relocation plate move the spare tire up till it clears the winch.
i always seem to get stuck driving forward into something rendering the front mounted winch useless.
