Has anyone powder coated hinges


. As for those covers I think they would prevent chipping but they would hold salt and crap in I would think.
The hinges are aluminum how about anodizing. i think thats more durable than poweder coating.
i also found these onlie but $137 for two doors and you would sttill need to get a finish put on them

BTW, I noticed you are in Winnipeg. Have you seen that awe-inspiring steel-blue unlimited with the tube doors, Mickey Thompsons and Shrockworks stubby around town? That guy RULES!!!

I noticed my hinges today, and the rears have partially peeled and rusted!! My Jeep is 10 months old. I have a friend that does powder coating, I think a satin or semi-gloss black would look best. PC would be more durable than paint not to mention less costly to repair/redo if needed!!

I got a quote today of 20 bucks to have mine powdercoated. I could swing that every year or two to have them redone. A textured satin black was recommended. This guy uses it on a lot of ATV wheels and stuff and says it holds up pretty well!!



so I guess I will be getting stainless.
