JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

Help me decide on tires please

Honestly take a look at deegan 38s.
They are very light compared to most tires. And are considered a AT. But they have an agressive tread pattern. I hear nothing but good things about them. Toyo mts are a heavy heavy mt tire. Due to the sidewall. But they do a good job in the mud. And have a tough puncture resistant sidewall.

Duratracs are a great tire but imo to me are more of a winter tire. They do good in mud as well, and i hear nothing but good things about them. They are light. With an mild agressive tread pattern.

Mtrs are a great tire with siping and good spacing between lugs. Have a good puncture resistant sidewall and are not a bad tire during winter times. Mud and slippery ground. Seem to not pack as bad in these tires.

As far as measurements go for most tires

Toyos are fairly close to true size.
Softer rubber and tread will make the tire slightly smaller.

Mickey thompsons we have also found to be close to a true size. My baja claws kn 35s measured at 34.7

Again it has everything to do with what you plan on using your jeep for.

Toyo owns nitto fyi. So take that into account for pricing.

I LOVE my Nitto Muds. They make the Jeep sound like it should (Scares small children above 50 mph), does great in snow and off road!

I went with the Toyo Rt 35x 12.5 /17 I didn't pick them up yet. I have one concern, do you have to cut the rock rails. I have a 15 rubicon and I'm not sure if they might rub.

from what I understand with the new model there is no need to cut. They come that way from the factory. At least thats what I have heard. But if you have to cut its supper easy... just pretend like its someone else's jeep.

Do they howl at speeds? Do they ride rough? 1 last question do they run small or large in comparison to Cooper's stated sizes? Thanks in advance for any and all answers. Oh forgot to ask what size are yours?

Mine are 315/70/17. Spec is 34.5", are 34.25 under the jeep. Not loud at all. I run them at 26 since they are E rated. Ride is good.
