Default homebrew front bumper

i have started some ideas on a new front after building my rear one and ditching my rr xhd. need to go sometime this week and pick up some 3/16 channel iron and start the real one with closed end caps. may order some pure jeep d-ring mounts

this is the plan. used the front support behind the ome front bumper to get an idea on where i wanted to go. dumped the fogs and will mount new lights behind the expanded metal.

I like it as well, clean and simple. Kinda reminds me of Benchmark Design version. I'd buy it for sure .

I have a benchmark mid width on my jku and it kinda reminds me of it also. Except the benchmark is deeper and has a hoop.

That's a great way to reuse OEM parts.

note: the front is NOT the final bumper just a protype for ideas

really digging the benchmark bumper but with stories i've read.....
thinking about not cutting out the holes for lights and just bolting them on top so i have the room for a winch down the road. but i think it will match up a little better with my homebrew rear bumper than the front rr xhd

xhd 4 sale

I'll take some for you close up to the bumper, but if you do a search on Benchmark Design front bumper some other members who have it has posted some close up pics. I'll see if I can get some posted today on lunchbreak or after work.

need to order the purejeep or teraflex d-ring mounts and drill holes on top for more lights.
