Woohoo,

I finally picked up my JK this morning after wheelin and dealin with the dealership over the last five days. Very stressful, but totally worth it.

Of course I spent the entire day just cruising around in my new baby. I put on about 130 miles today. My first impression....WOW!!! It drives 100 times smoother than my 2002 Grand Cherokee.

I was able to find a few dirt roads, just because I wanted to get it dirty and try the 4x4 etc.....it felt really smooth on the dusty roads.

I'm going to attempt to take out the soft top tomorrow, I've read that section in the manual several times, it seems pretty complicated, but should be OK.

I'm going to go and snap a pic in the driveway now (maybe a little dark, but I'll try)

OK, that's all, just wanted to share my excitement. I totally get how some of you guys are so fanatical about these things.

Cool dallas ,welcome and glad you got your baby! Speaking of Dallas what happened to my cowboys????

 

Careful. If you ask anyone from Dallas they will tell you it's Jessica Simpson's fault.

You got that right!!! It was all her fault, she's evil Alright, I guess the team probably had a small part in losing that game....but just a small part

Welcome ! That is a great looking JK. I still go outside sometimes just to look at mine. I am blessed in many ways with my family and all but the Jeep is a little reward for the hard work I do. Keep that grin on your face. We all know what it feels like to get it that first day. Mods will take over your life now so don't try to fight it. Resistance is futile.
