Nothing we say will fix the dent. Sorry for this happening to your rig man. I always park as far as I can within reason. I never look for the closest parking spot because those that do are usually in a hurry and don't give a rats ass what happens to the cart one's they empty it. Again, sorry it happened.

I was parked out in the middle with no cars around me and no shopping carts. As I was fuming mad a lady parked several cars down from me unloaded her cart and started walkling back to store like she was taking the cart back. She stopped at the end of the aisle and left the cart in the parking lot. I know she didnt do it to my Jeep, but I was about to go off on her because its people like her that dont allow people to have nice things. I have a $250 deductible and I'm wondering if its even worth trying to do anything about it. For trade in purposes I had a flawless Jeep. Now its like having a tit job youre not happy with.

Well that sucks, I hate it when people do that s**t, but since the lift, larger tires, bumpers and mud on my jeep no one likes to park next to me anymore...... I wonder why.

Do what I do: Park at the far reaches of the lot and gather carts on the way in. I have no expectation that the average lazy, worthless, inconsiderate waste of carbon will take the hint and follow suit, but I'm sure there have been plenty of doors I've saved from whacks. I usually get a thanks from someone in the store, at which I joyously take the opportunity to comment about trying to offset the lazy sacks of sh!t that left the carts loose in the lot.

I had some scumbag make almost an identical dint on my door....
If it was an off road battle scar I wouldn't care. The knowledge that some low-life did it in a car park seems to hurt the most.
