Like everyone said thank goodness you survived....I mean WOW!
So can we assume there are two things here to learn.
Never drive when tired and the sports bar is worth crap.

So what is the solution to the sports bar problem??????

Wow. I am glad you made it through that. I have often wondered how well the roll bar would handle a serious crash. It is hard to compare how some other SUV would have handled the same crash. You have to think that the factory roll bars are better than most SUVs out there.

congrats on the survival man!...that's one serious wreck!....go find a fabrication shop and get some DOM bent and welded up....it's worth the investment! I personally wouldn't trust those rock hard bolt in things...if it's what you can afford then it's better than stock, but nothing beats being tied to the frame with absolutely no weak points.

again man, stoked to hear your OK!

The OP stated in another thread he was going 65mph at the time. So, with falling asleep that was the full 65 as no braking happened. With how the tub did it makes you wonder if just a Rock Hard sports cage would have done the trick.

OMG! I cannot believe you're alive. Your JK is FUBAR! You are one lucky SOB. Sorry to hear about the JK but I'm sure glad you're alive.

Question...kinda:

-- Not sure if this is the right timing, but if that winch is still good and you don't know what to do with it, I'll buy it from you. Think about it.

But I'm glad your fine and you know you had a guardian angel looking out for ya.

You should be very thankful. That was an awful wreck. Ive seen a few JK's that have been rolled in fall-asleep deals, and you are the first Ive heard of living through it.

I dont place a lot of trust in the roll structure on these from the factory. I guess common sense tells you that any tube structure this full of holes (from options like soft tops etc, wont hold up well in a crash.
