Jeep Wrangler JK with Lift, 35" Tires on 22" Wheels
Clean... Looks city...
All that matters is if YOU like it
...Screw everyone else.
Me personally, I prefer the happy medium of my 17" wheels...
I would have considered 18" ...but was talked out of it...
I was told by sources that the bigger the wheel, the more chance the tire can pop while off roading.
...Is that true?

If he wants to bling out his JK and drive it on the street, then more power to him. That's one less H3 on the road.
Personally, I think with the introduction of the 4dr, the Wrangler has moved beyond its trail-only status. The way I see it, that's a good thing. More JKs sold means the brand isn't going away anytime soon and the potential market for accessories is much larger, which means more goodies for us.

Hey liz, it's really that you want to have more sidewall to flex while aired down, but I don't think a half inch on each side of the wheel is going to really make that much of a difference. I've always heard that ideal is for your wheel to be half the size of your tire, ie running a 35"on no bigger than a 17" wheel, so my 18's are a liitle above that, but I'll be going to 37's, so then I'll fit in.
Been away on buisness, haven't had time to post any replies.
It is a 2.5 Teraflex Budget Boost. It rides awesome no rubbing, even though I haven't really taken it offroad yet. I did crawl up a ditch sideways to make sure it doesn't rub though. It is really quiet for mud terrain tires. I only lost about 1 or 2 mpg, however a cold air intake should hopefully help that a little bit. I am happy about all of the comments on here. This is the look I wanted. I actually have it up for sell now because I sold my other truck and the Jeep really can't tow the boat like I want so I am going to sell the Jeep and buy another truck. I really don't want to because I love this new jeep and the new ride quality compared to the other jeeps I have had. But I am not going to have 2 truck payments so the jeep has to go for now. But since this is my fourth or fifth jeep I have owned I am sure I will buy another real soon. I have it listed for around $31500 OBO which is not really that much more than what I paid for it.
Happy Offroading
