4" Sky Jacker Install Questions
Hey 58sled,
My 4" lift from Skyjacker showed up last night. The install directions leave a lot to be imagined. Did you find a better set of directions or did you trial & error it?
This will be my first lift but I'm set up with the tools and I'm pretty mechanically inclined.
I figure I'l tackle the rear tonight since it should be a little easier and take on the front tomorrow night. (Sounds like Fun)
I have the 35 x12.50 Mud Grapplers from Nitto ready to install.
By the way my Jk is the same color. My boys were pumped to see what we'll hopefully be looking at in the near future.
Thanks for the picture. Any pointers would be appreciated.

for the rear be sure to put the track bar in the top hole of the track bar relocator (we had it in the lower hole and i think this was causing some ESP issues) not sure if the instructions indcated that.
for the front on the NEW lower control arms the greese fitting just push in we thought they threaded but we just lightly tapped them down with a hammer. also the off set on the lower control arms goes toward the center of the jeep ><. THis was very hard to understand IMO. the tires WILL RUB if you put the lower control arms on with the off set out <>.
be sur to check your shocks they sent our front shocks in the right box but wrong shock inside.
hope this helps
Jacks stands, floor jack and hand tools should do the job
Glad to hear its a family project. ENJOY And PLEASE POST PICS.
