I have done some modifications to the trailer over the summer.....additional lighting, awning etc. Here are a few more recent pics.

Pic at the top of Mount Antero...Just to see if I could pull it up there. Approx 13,000 feet, trail leading up was a one lane switchback, rocky medium level trail but towing a trailer definately made it interesting!!!

And my CO-Pilot!!

Trailer suspension........

Those trailers are awesome! I almost placed an order for a chaser... I backed out and starting building my own. We will see how it comes out, but right now I figure with a RTT its going to be still half as expensive as the AT. I have a frame built working on the suspension now, its my winter project

How would something like this handle on a highly technical trail like the Rubicon? Would it survive? Or would it just all depend on how careful you are? But would you try it with narrow trees, rocks, big drop offs, etc?

It does add a new level to your wheelin....mostly because you can not feel what the trailer is doing. It has a roll pin coupler that allows the trailer to articulate independent of the jeep. The trails in CO are rated on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the hardest...I have had it on a couple 7 rated trails. The trailer is on 35's and has more ground clearance than my JK on 37's. The suspension uses independent control arms and is air bag adjusted so it is very capable. Interesting enough....The one mishap I have had with it was on the pavment
It is narrower than the JK so it will not hit trees etc...worst part of having it on a trail is when I need to back it up (ie switchbacks going up mount Antero), but that extra challenge just adds to the 4 wheelin experience in my opinion.
ROcks and drop off will not hurt it.....several people have asked why not buy a cheaper and lighter fiberglass or plastic version, my answer is just for that reason.
Trust me my "mishap" would have totaled almost any trailer, I drove it away from that "incident" re-built parts of it myself and the result is what you see in those most recent pics. All pics on this page are "Post Mishap".
It is one tough @ss purpose built trailer!!!

Default Did you also look at Tentrax?

Considering one of these myself. Debating between Tentrax and Adventure Trailer. Was thinking of Coleman Switchback earlier, but it doesnt seem rugged enough. So someone who had a 2 dr JK having some issues with the tow weight of a Conqueror. Thinking of Tentrax due to weight issues, but the chaser definitely seems to be top of the line.

Thanks
