JK and Trailer
Thought I would post up some new photo's of my JK and M100 Trailer.
The newest parts on the JK are the FabFours Sliders. I went a little differant route with the sliders. I painted the area that mounts to the the body, body color. Then Line-Xed the board part of the sliders. Then for the cut out part of the slider (the part with the FabFours logo) I installed some black lettering grade vinyl behind the cut out, this way the FabFours logo stands out better and matches the rest of the black decals on my JK.
The Trailer is a 1950 M100 Military trailer. I took a 4" droped axle from a car trailer cut the axle down for the right width and welded it back togeather, then fliped the axle upside down for a 4" axle Lift. The fenders on the trailer are home made. I did all the body work and then added a tailgate from a Jeep CJ7. painted it Bright Silver to match my JK and Line-Xed the underside, bed, and tongue. Then had a custom tonneau cover made for the trailer out of Jeep Convertible top fabric. The trailer tires are 35" KM2's. I did have 37"s on the trailer but they were just to big as they would hit when the trailer was loaded and just looked to large. Much happy'er with the 35's.........

Looks really good man. This reminds me about the other day when I was thinking about putting the same type of rim/tire combo on a trailer and it would be pricey, but you hear about places selling tires "Buy 3 get 1 free". Well if you bought 6, you'd get 2 free. That makes 4 for your ride, a spare for your ride, two for the trailer and a spare for the trailer as well. So essentially you could get a pretty decent deal.
Sorry for getting sidetracked. Nice setup nonetheless.
