Yeah, it's Olympic 4x4's plate. Ive had the bumper for a couple years, but never put any lights in there because I didn't have factory fogs and never found a setup I liked. You CANNOT fit fogs and a winch! Olympic's site says it and from what mine looks like setup it is TOO tight in there. I think I might email them and see if they have any plugs for those lens covers that I could mount some hella fogs on the outside of the bumper. Any other ideas on changing the lens covers and fog holes into something useful are welcome!

I just bought that winch today!!!

Was it a pain to install?

Are you supposed to run all the cable out and pull some weight on it or something so the winch is ready to use?

thx,

Red

i have the xrc and no they are eeasy to install. it tells you in the instructions to spool it out like 30 feet then back in if i can remember right. the only problem i have with mine is that it wont free spool and has been that way since new. they told me i could send it in for a new one but it was going to cost me like 50 bucks in shipping, NO THANKS.

The winch is easy to install make sure you do the negative wire on the bottom before you bolt it down. it is REALLY hard to reach under and thread it! I spooled it out and hooked it to a tree strap and pulled myself in a couple times using a little brake.
By the way love your JK! Nice rig!

Default Got it stuck!

I went to try out the winch...So first I had to get stuck. It took me awhile, but I went into a deep clay mudhole that I had seen four wheelers floating in and stuck the frame hard on a ledge. I had all four wheels spinning totally high centered. I had to crawl out the passenger door and jump to hook up the winch. Pulled it out easy! Made me realize that if I plan on getting stuck I should remove the cover because it sucks trying to get it off in the dark standing in water and slippery clay

so glad I got a winch
