Prematurely reporting - ha ha love that one

I have been quoted and I paid in full $1100 to have the Tuscany Dark Graphite with the Jeep logo installed including aftermarket heated seats.

I called Katzkins direct and asked for the local authorized installer who just happens to be who the local jeep dealer takes there installs to.

They are suppose to arrive at the installer tomorrow and hopefully all this will get installed within the next day or two

Husker & Outlaw, you mind posting some tips to install these ? mine arrived yesterday and I'll put them on this weekend.

I paid $750 for JK 4 Door Deluxe Leather Two Tone Body, Black with Red centers. The dealer (a 4x4 shop) included 100 zip ties to use instead of the rings.

You will need some hog rings and pliers ace hardware has them

And a blow dryer to heat the headrests

Everything is basically remove a cover and install the new one
Take your time and pay great attention how the old one comes off
Especially the wiring if you have heaters and side air bags

Pm me if you get in a bind and need help

Appreciated !! One point for clarity : Do the hog rings (or zipties) attach the Katzkin hard black plastic edge to the JK seat frame ? If so, I presume I drill small holes (or cut hole with knife) in the plastic edging - this right ? cheers

No the hog rings replace the hog rings you will cut during the removal of the original covers, I highly reccomend the hog rings as using zip ties there would be a pain and I'm not sure they would even work.

I just bought the cheap $5 pliers and a box of rings $3

the hard plastic edge snaps on the seat frame, no drilling needed, they replace the original covers exactly,,, do one section at a time,

I consider myself very mechanical savy and it took me most of a weekend
