Ok, I need some ideas for where I'm putting a hi-lift jack. Let's see what you've come up with so far!

Thanks!

Default where

Rear bumper is prolly the best; front is 2nd best...

in the rear you drag it over rocks, in the front you bash it with them...

ohh; in a JK... i dunno, i guess it would fit same places?

check my web site for pix...

How about on the hood using the holes for the rubber windshield cushions?
I think I've seen that setup before.

So why would smashing and dragging be the best place to mount it????? I would say somewhere that it doesn't get smashed or dragged.

Hey,

I just mounted my Yakima rack to the back half of the hard top. I used the Yakima tracks for Fiberglass. No leaks! Anyhow, I mounted my Hi-Jack lift to the rack. I also now have a cool place to mount off road lights. In addition, I am using the rack as an attachment point for taking the top off. Long story, buy a rack! Looks great!!

Perfectly out out of the way and not out side, I do have a Thule Moab Basket but chose not to put it out there. I Rock Rail's that I lkift from, but if you'll need some Rim adapter they offer or something else to lift a JK.

That is where mine is going. just not sure how i want to do it yet in a 2 door as there is no rear crossbar. bracket it up there on each side, just below the arch of the roll bars in the rear so it doesnt interfere with the soft top, and get some foam rollbar padding and some matching fabric & zipper it up like the rollbars already are is the current idea. I just dont know if it will pan out, need to ziptie it all in place and make sure there are no interference issues first, then i can work on mounting ideas.
