The winch was very easy especially if you have the front grill off. You will find lots of installation write-ups on the JK-Project threads.

You can also hook them in to the back-up lights. At least that's exactly what I did with my Shrockworks lights. I just followed the wires out of the passenger tail light assembly. They are easily accessible by removing the taillight, and through a foam panel below it on the bottom of the Jeep. Now, when I back up all four lights come on.
