Default Looking for OR-Fab tire carrier pics

anyone that has the OR-Fab tire carrier can you post some pics? Im really interested in how it mounts to the body... are there any brackets that go behind the body panels or does it just bolt to the tailgate hinge plate holes? Thanks in advanced

Here you go, it has brackets that go outside and inside. If you go to OrFab's website you can download the instructions and look at all the parts and how they go together.

It is a tedious and time consuming install but it is worth it.

These pics were right after my install.

There are plenty of OR-Fab pics in several different threads. You can also pm the Forum rep with any questions (username= yhudson). He (Yates) is a great guy and OR-Fab is a great company with whom to do business. I have their full cage and love it.

I helped my brother install the rear carrier with gas tanks on his two door. There is a fair amount of supporting bracketry on both sides of the tub. The weight is on the tub, not the gate. If you don't find the pics you are looking for, I would suggest taking a look at the install directions on OR-Fab's website.

X2 on more pics. I think I'm close to pulling the trigger on the RotoPax carrier.

Tip: Buy/borrow a 90degree drill for the install. The install is a PITA regardless but it's even more of a PITA without one. Well worth it though. If I had to do it over again I'd prob run an LOD with Gerry mounts, but that's like 3x the cost.
