Looks cool, but how far does it stick out from the body

That style isn't usually body mounted, but direct on the fuel cell.

Yeah with my tank and cage set here so far the fuel nozzle doesn't fit well. That would give me alot better angle. Also mine leaks as is so hopefully i can seal around the filler better.

Does anyone know how/when the jk computer checks for the gas cap? I got my stock gauge showing almost full and dont appear to have any evap check engine codes like before, and the annoying fuel light is gone. It may need to be driven a few more miles yet, but i still have it saying gas cap over my odometer. Im hoping driving it will go away. Also by my battery is the old purge valve i believe it is. I dont believe its currently being used much but is still plugged in. Wondering if i should maybe plug the end that was connected to the evap or if its completely not related...im assuming its unrelated as it didnt say gascap when i was showing no fuel...

You might try disconnecting the battery for a little while and see if that resets the gascap light. I had to do that a while back when a evap line broke.

I was told it checked at 3/4 and 1/4 tank but never confirmed it. I was told that by Carolina Truggies.
I am keeping the fill in case I need it in the future or sell it with the extra fuel cell I have.
